Checks to Businesses & PeopleThis DelawareSpends section provides a database of vendor payments made by the State of Delaware, the state's 19 school districts and New Castle County. Use the form below to search checks to businesses and people by Vendor, Branch or Major Category, Agency and Subagency. Search results are presented in groups of 20. Results can be sorted in alphabetical or numerical order by clicking on the column heading. The number of results presented on a page can be expanded by adjusting the number in the "Results per Page" box at the bottom of the search form. Click symbols at bottom left of search results box to download results in the form of an Excel ("xls") spreadsheet or Comma Separated Values ("csv") file. Checkbook data is provided on a fiscal year basis for the State of Delaware, all Delaware school districts and New Castle County. The categories of spending correspond directly to object codes provided by the state and county respectfully. Data is currently available for fiscal years 2006, 2007 and 2008 for the State of Delaware and for fiscal years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 (through May) for New Castle County. The state data is only for check payments at this time. Credit card expenditures will be added shortly.
To search by vendor name, click on the vendor search field where it currently says "--All--"; delete all and type the name you want to search. Do not press enter. The vendor list will populate with the name you entered and you can select it to produce your search.
